Caroline is seconded by NORCAP to the Global WASH Cluster Field Support Team as  People-Centered Programming Coordinator from February 2022. In her role she is responsible for providing National WASH Cluster Coordination Platforms with support to mainstream the people-centered approach to ensure the satisfaction, inclusion, safety, participation and feedback from affected people in WASH coordination and response.

Caroline is a GBV Specialist with extensive experience working on GBV programmes, protection, women’s empowerment and inter-agency coordination. She most recently worked with the UNFPA Humanitarian Office as GBViE and Anticipatory Action Specialist. In addition, she has held several positions in the Middle East and Horn of Africa regions, including as GBV Sub-Cluster Coordinator for UNFPA Ethiopia and posts with ABAAD Center for Gender Equality and UNRWA in Lebanon.

She holds a MSc in Development Economics from School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University.
