COVID-19 Resources

The primary aim of the GWC COVID Resource page was to centralise WASH specific resources during the COVID-19 2020-2021 response. The GWC has been primarily collecting key country resources from National WASH Humanitarian Coordination Platforms as well as key technical guidance documents, links to trainings and webinars to facilitate access for WASH staff and practitioners.

We would welcome you sending examples of COVID-19 resources guidance documents, training initiatives, webinars generated by your partner organisation to be added to GWC website or in the next newsletter, please contact globalwashcluster@unicef.org.

COVID-19 Contact Tracing Course

Purdue University Global’s COVID-19 contact tracing course recommended by CDC provides the information you need to help public health agencies track and limit the spread of the novel corona-virus, or COVID-19. The need for health care professionals and volunteers trained in effective contact tracing will be crucial in the coming months, as cities and states lift stay-at-home orders and loosen restrictions on businesses. Use your passion for public health to help your community fight the spread of COVID-19.

Capacity Building and Training

The prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic is managed by a wide variety of public and private actors working with local communities.

For this reason, Bioforce has developed this on-line training to support local actors working with the communities. This English version has been put together with the support of Action Against Hunger (ACF France) and OXFAM.

MSF Micro-Learning on IPC

The website comes with a password: Covid19msf

A significant amount of documentation, guidance, health promotion material for communities and training material has been produced over the past few weeks. All of this has now been made available online for the benefit of healthcare workers, and for logistics and supply teams who support COVID-19 interventions. The information on this brand new resources website reflects current knowledge and information based on MSF’s experience, and is influenced by the exceptional situation created by the COVID 19 pandemic. The information is therefore provisional and to be used only in the absence of standard procedures and materials validated by WHO or the MoH. It does not replace professional clinical judgment or MoH or WHO recommendations.

The following training materials developed by MSF OCB present general principles on IPC and are not Covid-19 specific.
