Jason joined the FST in 2017 as an Information Management Officer, seconded to the GWC via IMPACT then iMMAP since 2019. During this time, he has been deployed to Kenya, Sudan, Cox’s Bazar (x2), Myanmar, Ethiopia (x3), South Sudan, Mozambique, North West Syria (via Gaziantep), North East Syria & Ukraine. Jason also co-facilitated in-person IM training in Addis Ababa & The Hague.

Prior to the GWC FST, Jason worked with REACH as a GIS Specialist in Hatay, Turkey for North West Syria response, with the University of Western Australia as an Environmental Health Officer in remote indigenous communities as well as with several mineral resource companies as a GIS Specialist.

Jason holds a Bachelor Degree in Anthropology and a Postgraduate Certificate in GIS.
