The WASH Information Management (IM) Toolkit is a resource to help Information Management Officers, Coordinators, Partners or other interested groups improve the flow of critical information during an emergency response. The Toolkit consists of an overall Guidance Note and a Support Pack with multiples sections that cover all the processes and requirements of IM during an emergency response. The Toolkit also includes a section of capacity building tools that are free to use for all agencies for training in preparedness or response.

The WASH IMTK is divided in two main sections:

The Core WASH IM Toolkit contains the most essential tools for WASH IMOs with basic skills or within a difficult environment or for WASH Cluster Coordinators  The Entire WASH IM Toolkit offers the same tools including advanced tools and guidance for IMOs with advanced skills or within an easy environment. The WASH IM Toolkit Contents can help you identify the most appropriate tools for you in the current emergency situation and the period of the response. The Guidance Note  can be read as a stand-alone document before you decide whether to download the Entire WASH IMTK, the Core IMTK, or just a few sections of each as shown below. Alternately, you can explore each section on the right-hand side of this page.
